ain't one for the scent of a spring-time rose,
but there is one fact that i do know,
i sure get a kick outta that beavis and butt-head show.
today i turned my tv on
what is it i do see?
two crazy-ass cartoon sons of bitches
starin' on back at me.
i said "what the hell is this?"
lern said "boy don't cha know,
the world's gone crazy
over that there beavis and butt-head show.
talk about calatrition,
now i can go with that,
i'd be goin' for frog baseball
but i'm inclined to use a cat.
but normally i'm a stooge's man
like larry, curly, and moe.
but now and then i get a chuckle
watchin' the beavis and butt-head show.
known just for a bottle change,
now there's a hell of a band.
they got that real sound
that's been sweepin' across the land.
there ain't no cheesy shotguns,
and that's too bad for me,
if i had my way of tv places
then a-that's-a easy.
i ain't nothin' special
i'm your average kind of man.
i like frosty barley pops
and i drink 'em right outta the can.
i give a rat's ass about poetry
and not a damn about prose,
i sure do get a kick outta
